Apple on Monday activated the “Universal Purchase” feature in the App Store that allows developers to include the macOS versions of their apps as a universal purchase alongside their iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and tvOS versions.

The new capability allows Apple device users to buy macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS and tvOS versions of an app, as well as accompanying in-app purchases, with a single purchase.
The launch of the new feature was enabled in part by Catalyst, Apple’s solution that allows easier porting of iOS apps over to the Mac. See your purchase history on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name, then tap iTunes & App Store.
- Tap your Apple ID, then tap View Apple ID. You might be asked to sign in.
- Scroll to Purchase History and tap it. If you want to see purchases that you made more than 90 days prior, tap Last 90 Days, then select a date range.
- Find the item, then tap Total Billed.
- From here, you can do these things:
- To request a refund or report a problem with the item, tap the item, then tap 'Report a Problem' and describe your issue.
- To see the date when you bought the item and the device you used to buy it, tap the item.

- Sign in with your Apple ID and password.

If you can't find an item in your purchase history
If you can’t find the item you’re looking for, try these things before you contact Apple.
Find out if a family member purchased the item
If you use Family Sharing, your purchase history shows purchases that you made using your Apple ID, but you won't see what other family members bought. To see what other family members bought, sign in with their Apple ID.
